The Easter Egg

An “Easter egg” for the information language, is an intentional hidden message, in-joke or feature that the software developers hide inside the product itself. It draws a parallel with the custom of the Easter egg hunt observed in many Western nations. Today the term “Easter egg” has a wider meaning and it is considered Easter egg whatever element hidden in a product and accessible only by some steps (click, push, etc.).
